Kick in the guts for IE
Google is actively turning people away from Internet Explorer by brazenly recommending Firefox and Chrome as the best browsers to choose if you’re a Gmail user. If you log in to Gmail through Internet Explorer, you’ll see a red link next to your account name in the top right, directing you to this page, which effectively says steer clear of IE.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve not been using IE for several years now - Firefox is my browser of choice. With the “security flaw” news this week and now Google’s low blow, Microsoft can probably recall better weeks in its illustrious history.
